Guidance is provided in easy Japanese and English.

Prepare for disasters and stay safe!

Volunteer-Guided Tour (Japanese & English)
<Who can join> Foreign residents and their families and friends
<Time>    ① 10:30–12:00 ② 13:30–15:00
<Capacity>  About 20 people per tour (first come, first served)
<What you will do>
•Hands-on experiences with an earthquake simulator truck and heavy rain simulation
•You will try making cardboard beds at an evacuation shelter and learn how to prepare at home.
•Try emergency food samples

*Other activities at the venue
There will also be food trucks, winter sports experiences, fire engine displays,
and a footbath experience provided by the Japan Self-Defense Forces!

No application needed if you don’t need a volunteer guide. Feel free to join the event on your own.

SICPF offers study support sessions for elementary school and junior high school students who are non-Japanese or have an international background.
Please bring your homework or study materials that you want to work on.

Free Space for Children and Parents with International Background: Shima-Shima!

It is a place and time for children and their parents to spend time freely and make friends.
There are the tables called "Study Island (Shima)", "Game Island", "Chatty Island", "Island for Parents" etc. and you can spend time at any "shima".
University students volunteers and Japanese language teachers are there.
No reservation necessary. Please just come when you want to join us!
