“Hello Work Sapporo” in Chuo-ku also provides consultation in English from 13:00 to 17:00 on Thursdays. Consultation in Chinese is also available. (For scheduling, please contact Hello Work.)
The Hokkaido Labour Bureau offers consultation on working conditions. Hours are from 9:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday.
From 9:00 to 16:30 on Tuesdays and Fridays, consultation in English is also provided.
Lawyers from the Legal Service Network for Foreigners in Sapporo offer consultation on legal matters, including problems regarding visas, nationality, international marriage, divorce, jobs and housing.

Houterasu Sapporo provides general consultation services regarding legal matters, including problems on money, family, traffic accidents, work and neighbor relations.

The Sapporo Center for Gender Equality provides consultation in Japanese for women on various matters, including family life, by phone or in person. Hours are from 15:00 to 17:00 on Tuesdays (except for the second Tuesday of the month), from 18:00 to 20:00 on the second Tuesday of the month, and from 10:00 to 12:00 on Thursdays and Saturdays.
The Consultation Office for Returnees from China and the Hokkaido Support and Communications Center for People Returning from China offer consultation services for those returning from China and other regions on problems concerning work, housing, education, medical services, language and so on.
The Health & Welfare Sections of ward offices provide consultation on health and welfare services for elderly/disabled people.
Health centers offer various services related to citizens’ health, including consultation on health, child raising, child health, nutrition and life in single-parent families.
The Child Consultation Center provides consultation services relating to children with the aim of offering advice and support. Inquiries are accepted on any matter relating to children, including child discipline, mental and body development, child behavior, school refusal, anxiety and problems about child raising, child abuse and inability to raise children due to family circumstances.
The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) provides information and consultation on scholarships and other matters concerning students from overseas.
