Annyeonghaseyo! (Hello!)

　To all the citizens of Sapporo, and all those accessing the Sapporo International Communication Plaza website, it is my pleasure to meet you all?my name is Kang Min Jeong, and I come from Gyeonggi province in South Korea.

　Beginning with my selection of Japanese as my major in high school, I have long held an interest in Japan and its culture. While majoring in psychology at university, I was strongly motivated to work in Japan after graduation, and thus applied to the JET Programme, through which I have now found my place in Sapporo. While this is my first time in Sapporo, I have found it to be a very charming city, and am enjoying life here already. Furthermore, I am looking forward to meeting everyone here who is interested in learning more about Korea, and hope that many people will join in the Korean-language “Let’s Talk” program held every Wednesday from 6PM to 7PM. Also, I hope that anyone interested in learning about or asking any questions about Korea will feel free to ask me anytime.
